Leave a Hospice of Alabama Tree Program – A Lasting Memory
We understand how hard it is to lose a loved one. Flowers, food, and memorials are traditional offerings of condolences. Hospice of Alabama works with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant trees in memory of our patients.
We plant a tree in an American National Forest in memory of each patient for whom we have had the honor of providing care. The trees are meant to provide a broad reaching legacy to future generations. These trees will beautify our surroundings, provide life giving oxygen, cleanse ground water, stabilize the soil, reduce pollution and protect wildlife from the elements.
We hope these plantings will provide some measure of peace and well being to our patient’s families, as the trees are intended to bring to the many who will pass their way in years to come.
